Lectures/Lifetime

Weeks 1–2: Basic Communication and Introductions (Sessions 1–6)

  • Topic Daily routines, telling the time, asking questions.
  • Grammar Question words ("what," "where," "when"), verb conjugation.
  • Activity Pair work: talk about daily routines.

Weeks 3–4: Expanding Vocabulary and Communication Skills (Sessions 7–12)

  • Topic Travel vocabulary, describing vacations, discussing activities.
  • Grammar Future tense (will + infinitive).
  • Activity Talk about vacations and what you are going to do.

Weeks 5–6: Expanding Social Skills and Future Plans (Sessions 13–18)

  • Topic Talking about work or school, professions, daily activities.
  • Grammar Use of verbs "to work" (å jobbe) and "to do" (å gjøre) in sentences.
  • Activity Role-play a job interview or school day.

Weeks 7–8: Advanced Communication and Final Sessions (Sessions 19–24)

  • Topic Festivals, birthdays, and national holidays in Norway.
  • Grammar Reflexive verbs for celebrations (e.g., "feire" = "celebrate").
  • Activity Discuss your favorite holiday and how you celebrate.

Weeks 9–10: Summary and Final Review (Sessions 25–30)

  • Topic Talking about what you like and don’t like, preferences.
  • Grammar Use "like" (liker) and "prefer" (foretrekker) in sentences.
  • Activity Discuss your preferences in food, music, and hobbies.
